30 WhatsApp Messages to Invite People to Any Event
WhatsApp is where most Indian invitations actually happen. You may have a printed card, a designed digital image, or a full invitation video — but the message you send alongside it on WhatsApp is what people actually read first.
A good WhatsApp message for event invitation is short, warm, and gives people exactly what they need to show up: what it is, when it is, where it is, and how to confirm. Here are 30 of them — sorted by event type so you can find and copy the one you need.

What Makes a WhatsApp Invitation Message Work
Lead with the occasion, not the formalities. "You are invited to [Name]'s wedding" reads better than "Dear friend, I would like to inform you." WhatsApp is a conversational platform — write like you are talking.
Keep it to 3–5 lines maximum. Long messages get skimmed. The essential details (what, when, where, how to confirm) should all be visible without scrolling. Use the invitation link for everything else.
Always include a link. A WhatsApp event invitation message that ends with just "let me know if you can come" generates responses scattered across your chat. A link where guests confirm in one tap gives you an actual count. If you are tracking RSVPs for a wedding, birthday, or kitty, the link is not optional.
Use emojis sparingly but intentionally. One or two emojis at the start set the tone and make the message easier to scan. A message full of emojis reads as cluttered.
Send at the right time. For big events (weddings, milestone birthdays), send the WhatsApp message 3–4 weeks before. For casual gatherings, 1–2 weeks is enough. A reminder message 3–5 days before gets the stragglers.
